Description
BAutoChat is a plugin for the game Rust that facilitates automated broadcasting of chat messages at specified intervals. It allows server administrators to configure a set of messages to be broadcasted to all players at regular intervals, enhancing server communication and engagement.
Commands
BAutoChat does not have any in-game commands. All functionality is automated based on server initialization and configured intervals.
Permissions
BAutoChat does not require any permissions for players to receive broadcasted messages.
Configuration
The BAutoChat plugin provides configuration options to customize the messages, interval between broadcasts, and console output settings. These options can be modified in the plugin's configuration file.
Configuration Options:
- Messages: A list of messages to be broadcasted to players.
- AdvertInterval: The time interval (in minutes) between each broadcasted message.
- BroadcastToConsole: Determines whether messages are also outputted to the server console.
- AvatarIDs: Optionally, you can specify avatar IDs associated with certain messages. (This feature is not fully implemented in the provided default configuration.)
Installation
- Download the BAutoChat plugin from the appropriate source.
- Place the plugin file (BAutoChat.cs) into the oxide/plugins directory on your Rust server.
- Restart or reload your server to enable the plugin.
Usage
Once the plugin is installed and loaded, it will automatically broadcast messages from the configured list at specified intervals. Administrators can customize the messages and interval duration according to their preferences by modifying the plugin's configuration file.
